Así mismo, la lista total de especies recientemente registradas en la ciudad y su zona metropolitana, se incrementó casi en un 35%. Por lo que esta segunda edición contiene, entre muchos otros datos: 159 imágenes de aves mexicanas con sus respectivas fichas. Una lista de 223 especies, con sus nombres científicos y comunes en español e inglés.
