Ed gets the message: "In this long-lost, rarely seen promotional video filmed for the United States Treasury Department, Ed encourages Wilbur to buy U.S. savings bonds. The wonderful world of Wilbur Pope: The original unaired pilot episode. "In the legendary pilot episode of "Mr. Ed," Wilbur Pope and his wife Carlotta[sic], move to a new home where Wilbur meets Ed the talking horse. Mr. Ed only speaks to Wilbur, however, so when everyone assumes Wilbur is crazy, Ed must come up with a way to save him." --Container insert.
